| Ogbuefi Akukalia is a wealthy and occultic man. When it is time for him to die he tries to initiate his first son into his occultic brotherhood so the wealth he has acquired will remain in his family. His oldest son refuses and as a result, the second son is initiated in his place. The oldest son's punishment for refusing this rite of passage is that he will "see but not enjoy" his father's wealth. When his suffering becomes unbearable, the oldest son himself decides to join a rival cult and so the OCCULTIC BATTLE begins. |
